Enix serves a classically styled isometric console RPG with this release of Dragon Warrior VII. Players take the role of a youngster named Aluse who has grown up in a sleepy little fishing village on a small, remote island. Joined by his friends Maribel and Prince Kiefer, Aluse decides to explore the ancient and mysterious ruins outside of town and is led on an adventure that takes him across the island and through time itself.

By confronting evil and solving puzzles, the adventurers can journey to the past and discover other islands and continents that existed near the island in earlier times. By solving quests in these ancient lands, the heroes can change the course of history so that the places come to exist in their own time as well.

The story progresses in a linear fashion, as the main character discovers new lands, each with its own mysteries, characters, and adventures. The job system adds immense depth to character progression, as players can learn skills from more than 50 classes, including warriors, clerics, jesters, rangers, dragoons, teen idols, and more.

Its creators include a trio of Japanese role-playing-game legends--game designer Yuji Horii, music composer Koichi Sugiyama, and character designer Akira Toriyama (who also created the popular Dragonball and Dragonball Z cartoons and comics)

Features:
* A fantasy-adventure game of epic proportions
* Travel back in time and discover lost continents
* Solve mysteries of the past to save the future
* 3-D rendered backgrounds and fluid combat animation
* An engrossing RPG experience true to the Dragon Warrior series
